Hello!
My name is Patrick Colon aka DJ Smokin' Dog. As a lifelong Chef, I've now created my own brand for DJing live parties, weddings, and bars/clubs as well as being able DJ support for bands and solo artists. I also book and promote local reggae artists. Please email for more information
One of my favorite things in life is music. Growing up in Reno, I was fortunate enough to attend many live shows and become immersed in the music business. I picked up and moved my life to the far reaches of the Caribbean Sea, settling on St. Thomas, USVI. Here, I learned the true love of my life: Reggae Music.
From the origins of SKA/Rocksteady and Roots Reggae, I love the positive vibes and messages of One Love. After leaving the islands, I moved to beautiful Humboldt County and became further immersed in the new subgenre that many call California Reggae. Combined, they make for an excellent auditory experience.
I also hold a strong knowledge of Rock, Hip-Hop, Country, Punk, and oldies music. I love discussing music and want to provide the experience you're looking for.
